Manik, It doesn't quite say explicitly in the new CacheSPI spec. But does the api: getCacheLoaderManager(); 1. Can return null if not configured 2. Only return not null if cache loader config is specified? Thanks, -Ben

Yes

2. Only return not null if cache loader config is specified?

No, as long as a cache loader is present, a CacheLoaderManager will exist. Will update the java docs accordingly!
