I've hit this problem again and, after 3 days of frustration, I've discovered something quite interesting... If you add debugging to log4j for ServiceEndpoint, the error will go away. <category name="org.jboss.ws.server.ServiceEndpoint"> | <priority value="DEBUG"/> | </category> I'm sure nobody will believe this but it's true.
