Fixed. :-) It's ZipEntry.getSize that returns -1, if the size is unknown. And we were only handling ZipInputStream if entry size was > 0. I'm now allowing to be anything else than zero, it's ZIS.isAvailable that will handle it. That would allow us to get rid of usage of JCL in our own code, but any user code that uses JCL would still end up calling into the com.arjuna version of Log4JLogger. So, reconciling the differences between the com.arjuna version and the AS's forked version would need to happen anyway. Seems the JBTM-20 fix is leading to some issues, since there are discrepancies between the com.arjuna version of Log4JLogger and the forked commons-logging version the AS was using before JBTM-20 was done. Continuation of thead from JBoss Cache forum http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=129202 -- moving it here as it turns out issue has nothing to do with JBoss Cache. JBossTS is programatically setting the default implementation of the commons-logging Log interface, setting it to com.arjuna.common.internal.util.logging.jakarta.Log4JLogger This is causing problems, as the com.arjuna class does not properly handle TRACE level logging, treating trace messages as DEBUG. Further, the AS uses a forked version of JCL that has altered the default Log4JLogger class; presumably there are other unreconciled differences between the com.arjuna class and the forked JBoss one. We need to reconcile the differences between the com.arjuna class and the JBoss one, get any needed changes in the JBoss one, and find a way to get the JBossTS code to use the reconciled version. Hi, I have also problem with this. But for me it doesn't find Spring and gwt classes. And to solve this problem I have to include spring.jar and gwt-servler.jar from seam distro.
