[Design of JBoss Remoting, Unified Invokers] - Sample JRPP client and server code?

I tried to find the usage of org.jboss.cx.remoting.Remoting in the sample module, but couldn't find one yet. Alexey has added a String class name to JBossEnterpriseBeanMetaData. The DefaultJndiBindingPolicy/EjbDeploymentSummary interfaces could be part of metadata so that one can load the policy and use it in the determineJndiName() methods so that there is one method to call to obtain an ejb's jndi name. We have the compiler plugin correctly set in the EJB3 Build Parent. However, when performing releases, the configuration is not set in the release POM, preventing release (as compilation fails). This is easily tested: mvn -f release-pom.xml clean verify Where you then see: ...generics are not supported in -source 1.3 | (try -source 1.5 to enable generics) A relevant issue is: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRELEASE-283 ...but I don't find the "inherited" property noted in te above JIRA having any bearing on the result. It's good to hear that this will be addressed in the next update. My Wireshark log tells me, that the 304 stuff if not done for me. That would make sense since the Expires header is set to the past (same as the Last-modified). Even worse is that for every single resource a new TCP connection has to be openend. I'd guess the TCP handshake takes even longer than retransmitting the small resources. For the record, my last post was wrong about app thread carrying a message back up the stack if loopback=true. Rather, it creates a task and hands it off to the transport protocol's thread pool. So, the app TCCL can leak to the transport protocol thread pool as well. Removing the multiplexer still left that problem. Hello, thanks for spotting this! You're right, we should be setting the expires header for some far-off date for image files - we'll change that on the next site update. Luckily you don't download the images every time, as we check the if-modified-since header - so you get an empty reply with a 304 (not modified). But the request isn't needed in the first place, anyway.
