I'm stuck. I found the deployment manager, but now I don't know how to continue. Google does not help, either. How do I deploy an application and wait for deployment? Has anybody a small code snippet? In theory, sure. But in practice, no one's going to honor the @Deprecated warnings, and in the meantime we'll still have JNDI logic to debug if I keep the "determine" methods in place. I wanted big glaring compile errors for all cases where the Object Model was being asked to perform logic it shouldn't be doing, and it made resolving these problems much easier. I've attached the AS patch to the JIRA as well. For whom do we want to maintain backwards-compatibility? Ourselves? We should be moving everything to the more elegant way of doing things. That in mind, what's the argument for CR1 compatibility (with regards to metadata and JNDI names only, not a general discussion)? You should not create an artifact that's not compatible with CR1. The determine methods should become deprecated and delegate to the new way of things. [Design of JBoss Remoting, Unified Invokers] - 2.4.0 PDF Documentation issue

I'm reading the PDF version of the Remoting 2.4.0 Guide, and found a few subtle issues with formatting: * URL is not represented as a link. Clicking on a link in a PDF viewer should show the URL in a user's preferred browser. An example can be found in the section 1.3, page 2. * Some example code has unnecessarilly big indentention. Please take a look at the section 5.1.1.1, page 15. * Some example code goes beyond the page margin, consequently being truncated. Please take a look at the page 20. I think these needs to be fixed and I can definitely contribute as I read the guide. Let me try to check in the fixes whenever possible. However, the problem that an example code goes beyond the page border needs some changes in our docbook style, which is beyond my knowledge. I think we can work around by formatting the code beautifully meanwhile.
