I guess we are trying to limit the attachments we look at, but limiting to just the outputs is not consistent with how the KernelDeploymentDeployer processes all BeanMetaData attachments regardless of the attachment name. I need to create a testcase for what your trying to do at this point to see what can be done and get this usecase into the testsuite. It sounds like you are doing it the right way. You may want to try the Save command followed by the GetSnapshot command instead. isn't this the same as the start process ? why is this different ? afaict (but it's a long time ago) that was the reason. cause it's the same information as the start process log. [Design of JBoss Profiler] - JBoss Profiler snapshot doesn't work

I have tried using jboss-profiler-2.0.Beta2 and jboss-profiler-2.0.Beta3.SP1 on my machine having jdk 1.6.0_07 installed. I am attempting to profile an ear application deployed on JBoss v4.2.3.ga. Now when I try to take snapshot using the command java -jar jboss-profiler-client.jar snapshot, the command prompt never returns. I have all the steps mentioned in readme available with the distribution. In run.conf, I have specified JAVA_OPTS="-javaagent:jboss-profiler.jar -Djboss-profiler.properties=jboss-profiler.properties $JAVA_OPTS" I can view the jboss-profiler mbean using jmx-console. Can anyone suggest, why am I not able to take snapshots using JBoss profiler. [Design of POJO Server] - relative class-path entry resolution

There seem to be some issues resolving relative Class-Path entries outside of a deployment. Basically the problem is that the resolution of the name is just based on the top-level deployment unit. Which means that there can't be a reference to a lib outside this. So if you e.g. have a lib (server/libs/test.jar) and .ear with a ejb.jar and a Class-Path entry like: ../../../libs/test.jar The AbstractStructureDeployer.getRelativePath(...) resolves this as server/libs/test.jar - but when applying the structure it fails, because it can't find 'server/libs/test.jar' within the .ear. The spec basically does not require this, but it does not say that it should not be allowed. It looks like that referencing libraries outside of the deployment was possible with AS4. So i'm wondering if there are any other reasons against allowing the same in AS5? In general this also seems limited how VFS resolves files, as it can't resolve files outside it's root context. At the moment the bootstrap/vfs.xml is defining a permanent-root for the deploy/ directory. So resolving files outside of deploy/ would not work by default anyway. Adding a parent directory as permanent-root as well, automatically resolves deploy/ as a child and the resolution could work - although i'm not really sure if this would conflict with the VFS temp/caching in any way? [Design of JBoss jBPM] - Wrong namespace from designer

Hi! Finally I am really starting deeper in a jbpm 4 showcase :-) Not sure if this is already reported, just wanted to put it here: The beta2 Designer sets the namespace of a process to "xmlns="http://jbpm.org/4/jpdl", but the correct namespace must be "xmlns="http://jbpm.org/4.0/jpdl", otherwise you get problems (start activity not found)...
