Implementations of org.jboss.profileservice.spi.DeploymentRepository.getDeploymentNamesForType are looking to the VFSDeployment.getType, not Deployer.getType. There are some deployer beans.xml that are setting the type property, so they would need to be updated to remove Deployer.getType.
