[Design of JBoss/Tomcat Integration] - cookies are used even when context.xml is configured not to

I found a realy strange behaviour here which is different than tomcat. If the web browser send a valid cookie to JBOSS, it will be used event though I have jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/context.xml with: Context cookies="false" crossContext="true" Behaviour is as follows: 1) if browser does not send cookie, jboss will rewrite urls ( as expected ) 2) if browser send cookie, jboss will use it. ( wrong behaviour and not consistent with standalone tomcat ) Anyone knows something about this ? There should be two pieces. 1) The WAR Deployer (that does xml -> metadata -> mbean/pojo metadatas) Deployed by the DeployerScanner 2) The WAR Container (Tomcat or more accurately a collection of mbean/pojos that bootstrap Tomcat and its web-apps). Deployed by the DeploymentScanner You want to add your code to the WAR container NOT the WAR deployer. also please add a bit about the motivations to move to the sun JSF impl. i would guess that the move to suns jsf impl also implied the move to sun-servlet/2.5/lib/servlet-api.jar and sun-servlet/2.5/lib/jsp-api.jar could you add where you fetched those libraries ? i seem to have a hard time finding them. currently, our model only has transition as the directed connection between nodes. the BPDM (http://www.bpmn.org/BPDM_Documents.htm) defines multiple types of connections: * sequence flow (for execution transitions) * message flow (expressing how data flows in the process) * association (just any association that a business user can draw between two graphical elements) would it make sense to add multiple types of connections to the jbpm core library over time ? how could these be used in jPDL ? what would a data connection mean exactly ? what are its possible sources and destinations ? could data connections also influence the execution ? e.g. if execution arrives in a node that also is the destination of a data connection and that data is not available yet, should be process execution be halted till the data becomes avialable ? more questions then answers. please add your opinions so that we can get closer to the answers :-) View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3981995#3981995 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3981995

i would like ADDING ejb3 beans. but i don't want to to remove the EJB2 beans for backward compatibility reasons. the majority of containers will be ejb2 for a while. so we need ejb2 beans. i have not focussed on ejb3 beans for now because that would imply that we have to factor out the common code. so the ejb3 simplifications would be countertackled by factoring out the common code between the ejb2 and ejb3 beans. so i'm not sure if that is worth while. anonymous wrote : If the bean is deployed with transaction-attribute required (which is the default), then the container should automatically rollback the transaction if a system exception is thrown, which will cause the JMS Server to retry the message for some configurable number of tries, and then place the message on the DLQ. | the thing i don't know is the actual configuration in the deployment descriptor. feel free to add this configuration property in the deployment descriptor if you know which one it is. anonymous wrote : | You can also catch non-system exception (e.g., an ObjectNotFoundException, InvalidStateException, etc), and invoke setRollbackOnly on the messageDrivenContext, i.e., please define non-system exception. afaik this means non-RuntimeExceptions, right ?
