What's the argument list you have used in your -XrunjbossInspector:directory,parameters ? You are probably using something invalid as start class. Try using only -XRunjbossInspector:directory and nothing else after that. If you need other arguments I can help adding more stuff later. Tom, I think that message flow and associations are typical constructs that are used by a business analist. I am not sure they are that important to the execution. Of course if message flows are added to the GPD at some point in time and the GPD is to operate on the same model as the runtime engine, it would make sense to add these capabilities to the core model. As for the question what a message flow would mean in jPDL, I think it could be used to somehow limit the visibility of the variables contained in this flow to all the nodes that are connected by the flow. it is indeed when i'm running ant scripts... so one hypothesis is that eclipse's ant runner doesn't close the classloaders used for running ant and the classpath files are just kept open. there doesn't seem to be a configuration option in eclipse to run ant in a separate process or something like that. i see in external tools configurations that all the ant tasks are already specified with 'Separate JVM' (and not 'run in the same JVM as the workspace) damn. [Design of JBoss jBPM] - enterprise test set up

i have completed the first enterprise test set up. as a prerequisite, a jboss should be installed with a jbpm server configuration and some jbpm deployments. this can be created with the jboss/configuration/build.xml, target install.jboss.and.configure.jbpm then, the test stuff is added to the enterprise/ear subproject. there is a target called test.serverside. that script will do the following: 1) build the normal .ear first. 2) unzip it 3) add a jbpm-test.war with cactus based junit tests 4) repackage this into a new .ear file jbpm-test.ear 5) deploy this .ear file to jboss using jmx 6) run the cactus tests in jboss 7) generate the html test report 8) on windows, a browser is automatically opened to view the test results that should help in developing, testing and guarding the enterprise confiugrations of jbpm usage. next i will be adding actual tests that will check for the proper operation of asynchronous continuations over a jms based messaging service. happens to me to, thought it was a local problem. Might not be the case. I sometimes also get an error that seems to suggest jbpm-jpdl.jar is on the classpath (ant tries to load something from it). Maybe ant is not running externally from the eclipse jvm?
