[Design of Security on JBoss] - Communication between tomcat and jboss

HI... I have a situation, where I am using tomcat server for authenitication and jboss for sharing the resources...Now, I have a user LoginModule at the tomcat level where user is asked to login. once the user has given his credentials, validation is done. On successfull login, i need to forward the request from tomcat server to the jboss server. How can i achieve this situation...? ok. looks good. now i know the minimal functional requirements for the 3.2 release: at least, we should be able to create a process in the designer and then execute this process completely in the web app. Anything outside of that main path is optional. Typically i need Jira and SVN monitoring portlets running. I am very new to this? since i am an embeded programmer. Could somebody help me out to getting it running. [Design of JBossCache] - Why is the development of partitioning in JBossCache frozen?

There is a JIRA issue http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBCACHE-60 "Partitioned Cache", which is asssigned to the release 2.0.0.GA. It is now closed with resolution "Deferred" and with a comment: "Manik Surtani [23/Feb/06 08:53 AM] May not be a need, gravitation of data in buddy replication will solve this." Buddy replication with gravitation of data doesn't replace partitioning. For example, if we have three nodes: A, Data:A, Backup:C B, Data:B, Backup:A C, Data:C, Backup:B user on node C can not get data from node A. So sticky sessions are required. This pre-requisite is mandatory. But sometimes it is not possible to have sticky sessions. So real partitioning is needed, where: 1) there is a hash function which returns node id by passed key of entry, each node knows this function 2) the data is stored in fixed (configurable) number of nodes, (for example, on two nodes - primary and backup) 3) when client performs get/put operations, cache calls hash function and request comes to corresponding node (local or remote) 4) when new node joins the cluster or exising node exits the cluster, data is redistributed My question is: Why is the development of partitioning in JBossCache frozen? i have fixed this in the SQL script generation. i added delimiter=";" to the jbpmschema task for creating the oracle SQL scripts. Does anyone know for which other databases we should be adding delimiters ? i'm definitely open to having a .war for 1.4 and a .war for 5.0. BUT the thing to take into account is that i want the war files to have the same name. because when deploying wars, the filename is used as the context root. the way i'm heading now is that 1 version is being produced in the deploy folder of the distro's. Then there is a build script that can build all kinds of (currently only 1) variations with different library combinations. The one customized version that this script now produces is a version that runs on tomcat 6.0.0. Would that be a good approach ? starting with one base file in the download + an ant script that can generate the other variations.
