We have not discussed the setting options of the Comparator in the EARDeployer , if we are setting this from the configuration file ie ear-deployer.xml file then we might need to have a test cases for this too. Should we include the testcase for this now? I can not think of the use case where the user will use the explicit comparator and not rely on the settings done in the application.xml file. My personal view would be not to give this feature to user by default , if we notice the user asking for it we will include this at that stage . Would it be ok not to have this as of now? It makes a sense to me , but I was thinking of a way to get the a proper ordering as i could get by introcuing some delay or by System.nanoTime() usage . Anyway I think I will continue with this . Well I dont think I need to create a seperate EAR , I will use the \unpacked-ear2.ear from the testsuite which I have been doing during executing the test suites till now . Again, stop thinking of changes of this type, like adding sleep() in the production code! Instead, add a .sar to your ear that instantiates an mbean that introduces a small delay in its startService() method, to get your delay. Then make the .sar to be the last module in application.xml (by default it should be deployed first, I guess, so the test should fail), then compare the dates and expect this to be the last deployment. That's fine if there's still some other nodes in the cluster. Let's say we've got a cluster of A,B and A has just picked the coordinator role and it's pushing the state. If A is stopped in the middle of that, it does not matter that the persistent state is not complete because B will assume coordinator next and would push the in-memory state to the cache loader. Problem solved. However, if the same happens now happens with B which is the last node, then the persistent state will remain corrupt. The other potential issue comes from a cluster restart and the coordinator node retrieving the state from a cache loader to which the transfer was not completed successfully. Hello Koen, I've posted a final version, I hope so. I had some difficulties with making a seperate localization plugin for jBPM, so by now all the locale specific data has to be in GPD plugin JAR file. I hope you could help me here. Will it be included to the next release? It may help convince programmers to use exernal resources insted of hardcoding data. Yes, but in order to be completely compliant, I think the getCallerPrincipal() should simply return a SimplePrincipal("anonymous") or something when there is no security domain configured. This is currently not the case in the EJB3 code, however the 2.1 code looks better? [Javassist development Forum] - how to put image file on client machine through JBOSS

I need to imlement the functionality like google map on website, where my server is JBOSS server. We used the newest technology SVG(scalable vector graphics) which doesn't loose the image quaility on increasing the size of the image. we are doing backend processing of the image and throwing the png images on the client. machine. I already written a program which can be used at the time of zooming and panning of the image and can throw the image but that is all PC based. but when I am implementing on the server it is giving error because code is not getting any output directory to save the image on sever. Please tell me if that can be happen through caching or how can I save image on client machine without user authenication and can retrieve on the web page. so that my server doesn't have extra load. Since this code won't be called so frequently , thus will not result in the performance hit . This gives the appropriate deployment ordering . Are there any other ways we can get the actual Deployment Ordering ? InvocationContext has always been stored in ThreadLocal, except that this was always done by the TreeCache class when you called the overloaded method. This has always had invocation-level scope. Now you'd do it explicitly and the reasons for this shift are: 1. Every time you use this, this is very explicit. Little chance of using the wrong overloaded method. 2. Cleaner interface API, since this is needed in Cache and not CacheSPI (form Hibernate, for example) +1 on the accessors/mutators being static and handling the ThreadLocal business internally.
