[Design of EJB 3.0] - injection code rewrite

I removed the injection code under org.jboss.ejb3.injection and rewrote in the same module under org.jboss.injection. The changes are there so that there is an abstraction so that all the injection code can be reused within Tomcat. The next step is to incorporate this code into Tomcat. I had already done some preliminary work in this area with a small prototype, so it should be pretty easy enough. There is one problem with the work though. EJB3 team has created a parallel competing metamodel that competes with org.jboss.metadata package. We will probably convert to the old metadata package as many projects use it and it would be easier to just refactor ejb3 code to do this. I guess we can circumvent by making the copy of the temp destinations also part of the target "one-test", because the ant copy task can do a copy only, if the resource does not exist. But the issue that is uncertain is will be the running jboss instance be the "all" config instance. We cannot make that assumption. This is getting convoluted. I understand, that the strategy for running the testsuite is to deploy common resources (queues/topics) during the startup of the AS. This needs to revert some tests so they don't deploy duplicated resources. no problem. But what about single tests? ./build.sh one-test -Dtest=org.jboss.test.cts.test.BmpUnitTestCase For this test I have to start the AS manually, and when I don't deploy jbossmq-destinations-service.xml (all needed queues), the test will fail. [Design of JBoss jBPM] - Deploying to 3.2 CVS Head

How do we start deploying a process to the new 3.2 version? We dont have the GPD up and compiled yet, is there a version already that will work with it? We finally got everything installed, and hooked up to Oracle, and using our authentication tables, and 3.2 is running, but we done have any processes in it to work with. [Design of JBoss jBPM] - Re: JPDL Eclipse Graphical Editor - problem building.

Ok, just got back around to working on this now. We got the 3.2 built, installed and working, and now are trying to build this again. Where do we go from here? The readme file about ready? We are running this on a Linux system, and I tried to do a general build in the jbpm-3.2/designer/jpdl/org.jbpm.gd.jpdl.build and it created a bunch of C:/ files and directories. Where is it telling it to treat this as windows? We have run the get.dependencies as well. The jbpm-3.2/repository/eclipse contains > du 48322 ./emf-sdo-xsd/2.2.0 48324 ./emf-sdo-xsd 11906 ./gef/3.2 11908 ./gef 5426 ./jem/1.2 5428 ./jem 246962 ./sdk/3.2 246964 ./sdk 100386 ./webtools/1.5 100388 ./webtools So any pointers from here would be great :} Is the deployer for the CVS gpd working? The answer lies in checking that the failing tests (incl BmpUnitTestCase) and their resources are in sync with Branch_4_0. I am guessing they are not. If not, they can be reverted to be in sync. after updating (from https://svn.jboss.org/repos/jbossas/trunk), i ran $ ./build.sh jboss-all-config-tests and ENCUnitTestCase was successfull ,but as i wrote in jira (sorry for the discuccion on jira and not this forum, i'm stll learning :) ), deploying queues/topics at the startup of the server cause other tests to fail (one of them is org.jboss.test.cts.test.BmpUnitTestCase) becasue they can't deploy their own queues/topics ,because some of them (queue/A, queue/C) are already deployed (at the startup). Anill suggests, that everything(common resources like queues A,B,C...) should be deployed during the start of the "all" instance, so the tests don't have to care what they have to deploy at the beginning. in this case some tests must be reconfigured, to not start queues/topics at their start. But this strategy is not perfect. What about single tests? Do I have to deploy jbossmq-destinations-service.xml every time I start a single test? I have created a MC_VDF_WORK branch (https://svn.jboss.org/repos/jbossas/branches/MC_VDF_WORK) from the current trunk to stablize this. Once the server is booting with the BeanDeployer and SARDeployer ported over to the VDF we can merge this to head or continue porting deployers depending on how many cts related changes to deployers are happening.
