afaik, the ejb-local-ref elements allow a bean to lookup the other bean. so they should refer to the other bean. your correction would enable a bean to lookup itself. at least that's what i remember of it. can you run the enterprise test suite ? then make your correction and see if the enterprise test suite still runs after your correction. [Nukes Development] - window state problem with jboss portals

Ah got something, now I see what you mean: @JBossXmlModelGroup(name="embeddedSessionBean", propOrder={"descriptionGroup", "ejbClass" }) | class EmbeddedSessionBeanMetaData extends SessionBeanMetaData | { | } It would appear that name is mandatory and I must specify a propOrder to get things done. The JBossSessionBeanMetaData class itself is going to be a dirty hack into existing structures. That looks fine, but the VirtualFileURLConnection should be providing more information like size, lastModified, etc. See the additional assertions I added to the MemoryTestCase.testWriteAndReadData for the Test class file. The byte[] contents is fine for now.
