In the old thread i already mentioned my fear that this is useless without the notion of community. Each portal can already have its own theme, security and pages. With the URLFactory you can already do what you are talking about. Now if you want separate groups of users (one per domain) it would not be possible at the moment. It would require refactoring that cannot be achieve in 2.6.x for backward compatibility. Feel free to complete and add your thoughts on the different threads started on the subject. as much as I would love seeing an optimized deployer for seam I also would love that we didn't need to have N different ways to setup deployment for N servers. If we could at least get the normal scanning which works on all app servers (afaik) expect JB5 working on JB5 and then optionally have the choice of getting better speed by enabling the deployer that would be the best. I still do not understand why the vfs url's can't present their inputstream as an jar archive ? Aha, forgot. I didn't change that much, just how scanning is done against VFS. A visitor patter collects all the possible mapping files from the CL urls, and adds them to the CFG via InputStream. [Javassist development Forum] - javassist-3.6/jdk15/OS400 ClassFormatError 0000 6305

On OS/400, with jdk15, when I deploy JBoss Seam, I get a ClassFormatError (see bellow). When I replace javassist by cglib, it works again. When I use JBoss Seam on my PC, everything works fine. When I create a small application (no Seam) with only Hibernate, I get the exact same exception. Any idea of how to solve the issue? I think in step 2 it would have been clearer if I'd said: copy the DLL or SO to a directory found in your PATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Is that what you are doing?
