[Design of JBoss Build System] - Re: microcontainer jars in the mvn repo?

A 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT version of the microcontainer jars is now in the repository. Yes, this is still a work in progress. I'm working on getting a new share/server to put automated nightly maven builds, but it might take a little more time before the process is automated. For now, if you need a new snapshot, you should be able to build the microcontainer using maven. If you just use the command "mvn" it will install the jars into your local repository. If you use "mvn deploy" the jars will be copied to your local checkout of "repository.jboss.com" and you can commit them for others to use. The ConcurrentHashMap change was not merged to 1.2.0, and I left it out when i merged the log changes it was bundled with. Anyway there is no way that ConcurrentHashMap could have reduced synchronization since it *adds* synchronization. Removing synchronization was one of the big reasons for the Java collection types in 1.2. Only the pre 1.2 collection types synchronized all methods (Hashtable and Vector). [Design of EJB 3.0] - Transient re-injection

I'm looking at the stateful unit test and in StatefulBean there are two transient fields which are supposed to be re-injected after activation. This is not according to spec, where injection takes place after construction of the object (4.3.2). The bean provider is supposed to make the bean serializable (4.2.1) and re-animate it on activation. I like the way it is in the unit test code though, so we should make this a JBoss explicit extension (and get it into the spec later). Let's say the following: Any field which has an injection annotation and which is transient will be re-injected upon activation. Unless in jboss.xml reinjection is set to false. (The containers should keep an extra list of reinjectors.) I take the bundle artifact and register it into the existing OSGi framework, set bundle as top level CL and then wire up beans (OSGi lookup or registry). now we are using jboss server 2.2.3,and the next work will integrate 5 systems together. I have seen some documents,and found out that jboss portal 2.0's server is jboss as4.0.2.So, if we should select jboss portal 2.0 or higher version,we must update the jboss AS.But we have not many experience about jboss server's update.Who can tell me about the update? If we don't update the jboss server from 3.2.3 to 4.0.2 or higher,can we use jboss portal to integrate our 5 system together?
