Hello, I work with Jboss ESB 4.2.1.GA and Maven 2.0.8. I'm trying to package an esb archive with maven build wich will be deployed on a Jboss Application Server 4.0.5. I did these following steps, can you tell me if it's good : 1) I create a simple project : mvn archetype:create -DgroupId=fr.monGroupId -DartifactId=monesb -Dpackagena me=fr.monGroupId 2) Then, I modified the pom.xml using the jboss-packaging-maven-plugin of org.codehaus.mojo. I tried to use your maven esb plugin but I failed (if you can explain how to modify my pom.xml to use your plugin, it will help me). (you can read the source of the pom.xml at the end of my message) 3) I do : mvn install. I've got an error because the jboss-esb.xml is missing. 4) I put a jboss-esb.xml in monesb\target\monesb-1.0-SNAPSHOT\META-INF 5) I do : mvn install. I obtained the file monesb-1.0-SNAPSHOT.esb which does nothing for the moment. Do you agree with my steps? Now, I want to create a real esb archive which works. To do this, I need some jar which are in jbossesb.sar\lib like jbossesb-rosetta.jar etc. But I don't find them in a maven repository. How can I get them during maven build? But for new things, I would definitely recommend KernelDeployment/BeanMetaData. If you have any issues, let me know. Here or on the MC user forum. OK, now I understand, I think. I'll give this a shot today and see if it works. Looking at the AS source, it seems that almost all the deployers are currently using ServiceDeployment/ServiceMetaData at the moment. Does this mean that we're going to make a move towards the KernelDeployment method instead? I was hoping to have this at least somewhat working by JBW - we'll see what happens. [Design of JBoss Portal] - SquirrelMail + iframe + portal

Hi all, I try to use Squirrel Mail (SM), a webmail, in an iframe, to display it in the JBossPortal, in a tab named "Mail". Actually, SM runs on an Apache, because it uses php, so the portlet basically points to the root directory of SM. With the use of the login_auth SM-plugin, i managed to automatically log the user, using a kerberos ticket, so it doesn't have to type his login/passwd. My problem is that when i start writing a mail, if i decide to go to another tab for a moment and back to the "Mail" tab, i'm back to the SM-homepage, but i lost my unifinished mail !!! I'm pretty sure it logs the user again... but that's not what i want. I want it to stay loged in until i close firefox. Do you have any ideas how i might solve this problem ?
