Can someone explain what this "embedded configuration" is? The only JBM configurations I am aware of that we need to support are: JBAS 4.3 and JBAS 5.0..... Is this a new requirement? I did the update to 1.4.0.SP3 locally (and updated the xmls) and I still get the same exception when I try to boot embedded. I just updated JBM to 1.4.0.SP3 on jboss5. (BTW I have created a JIRA for this: http://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBAS-5104) I have done some tests on my local box and I don't foresee any major problems. [Design of Management Features on JBoss] - centralized JMX console

Hi, I'm newbie to JBoss. As I know, JBoss has a JMX console. However, I think it is not a centralized console that you can manage and monitor distributed applications on different servers, is that right? Does anyone know of any commercial centralized JMX console that can connect to MBeans deployed on different JBoss? I know of jmanage, but we would prefer using products that we can purchase from the market. Thank you very much. Wouldn't enums still be a problem in that they would require user type definitions and, hence, a class loader?
