Can't we do this in a cleverer way? It's stupid that somebody has to "guess" where 5 or 6 copies of a config file exists. Embedded has the same problem with continually out-of-date config. I'd also like to see the web deployer beans split up. Why do we repeat things in the default/all config just to change the cluster defaults? The clustering defaults should be in a different file. Whats the chance that we can get the properties files updated, it took much searching to find this forum with the proper repository location to set, and a year later its still set as the old repositories. I would be glad to help with some of that type stuff. The frustration of having to go through this almost made it more worthwhile to chase down some other wiki project, and I would hate for that to be the standard reaction. You guys really have a cool solution on your hands once it gets working out of the box. Is there a way to let the portlet set this info at install time? I added test methods to our Cactus test for JMS, and they are being discovered, the test is using the same code as in the console, so until I can deploy a Seam App in the server, I can't test the UI. On a sad note, now all the Datasource Cactus tests are failing. EJB 3 requires an electronic overview of all components used in JBoss AS 5.0.0.CR1. This is to make sure we build against the correct versions. Since Maven is currently the build system defacto it must be directly consumable by Maven. How you do this? I don't care. Where you put this? I don't care. As long as the above requirements are met before the actual release of JBoss AS 5.0.0.CR1. So I can actually deliver something usable in that AS version. [Design of JBoss Portal] - JBoss Portlet Container 2.0 CR2 release

I am going to release the following for the CR2 release of the JBPC: - common 1.2.Beta3 - web 1.2.Beta3 I will not update the microcontainer above Beta9 (which is the currently used version) since we don't integrate yet with JBoss AS5. I plan to do this over the week end or early next week (since I am waiting that Sohil finishes to mavenize the presentation framework), unless someone needs urgently to add a feature for 2.7 in those modules. Well in that thread that was for Beta 4. This is with the latest Hudson builds, which between Beta 4 release and these builds, I was deploying the web app fine. It is something recently added. I can always create a Cactus Unit Test and run it in AS 5 without needing Seam, and see if that helps.
