I'd like to upgrade MINA version that JBM uses, but I don't know how to deploy the latest snapshot jars into repository.jboss.org. Any pointers? It was because TCP no delay was not set. Turning on the flag fixed the problem. I checked in the fix already. Please confirm. The change to determineLocalJndiName to drop the unique System.identityHashCode portion won't be valid for ejb2 deployments where there are multiple ejb jars that have the same ejb-names for beans with local interfaces, or mdbs. The same problem should exist for ejb3 as well doesn't? How are two standalone ejb3 jars each with a LocalBean going to share the same LocalBean/local global binding? I need to look at the tests to see what the issue is. I have been struggling on identifying this: If you mix calls of Blocking and OneWay calls, you will have serious performance problems. Say.. if you send one or two messages, and call commit this would lead to this condition, which is a very common use case. I have isolated this scenario at org.jboss.messaging.tests.integration.core.remoting.mina.timing.MeasureRemoteTest#testMixingSends I'm basically doing calls on a FakeServer like: for (int i=0; i<NUMBER_OF_MESSAGES; i++) | { | if (i%2 == 0) | { | remoting.sendOneWay(10, 10, new EmptyPacket(EmptyPacket.CLOSE)); | } | else | { | remoting.sendBlocking(10, 0, new EmptyPacket(EmptyPacket.CLOSE)); | } | } | And this is only able to send 50 messages / second. (25 onWay and 25 blockings per second). Adrian, I think I have fixes for the JCA layer now. I need to test a bit and check it in this week. * We inject a security domain name (this is as before) as well as a SubjectFactory instance into the connection mgr. The SubjectFactory implementation provides the subject to the connection manager. All the internal details such as getting the principal/cred etc are hidden from the jca layer. * I am retaining the setJaasSecurityMgrService(ObjectName) and getJaasSecurityMgrService() methods for backwards compatibility (or should I just remove them?) This issue should be fixed with my fix in JBM and MINA. Here's the notable changes I've made: * MINA updates scheduledWriteBytes propery *before* calling messageSent. * JBM MinaHandler uses suspend/resumeRead() instead of explicit blocking when necessary to avoid dead lock. In revision 73473 (http://viewvc.jboss.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/jbossas?view=rev&revision=73473) I fixed 2 of the 6 Unit Tests that Carlo had committed. No regression in jboss-metadata occurred as a side effect. However, look at the base names now found for Business Remote (specific) Interface, Business Local (specific) interface, home and local home - they've got a baseName of: MyStatelessBean/remote ...instead of the expected: MyStatelessBean ...when a DeploymentSummary is present. Best I can tell is that there's a disconnect in "determineResolvedJndiName" when there's a DeploymentSummary in place, which is not always the case.
