Some more for my wishlist: * Unit Tests for org.jboss.ejb3.proxy.lang.SerializableMethod - hashCode and equals. * Unit Tests for org.jboss.ejb3.proxy.handler.ProxyInvocationHandlerBase - construct a Proxy using this InvocationHandler and call "handleInvocationDirectly", checking for proper handling of equals, hashCode, and toString - these should be handled directly by the InvocationHandler. Anything else should throw NotEligibleForDirectInvocationException. When I run the perfSender (without perfListener) it's very common the client hanging without an answer. The client keeps waiting on this condition, as if a message was dropped on the wire. [Design of JBoss Profiler] - Re: JBoss Profiler 2

Is there current documentation somewhere? The pdf on the web site doesn't seem to match the beta1 download (not even a little). A lot of things I can intuit but it would still be nice to have a brief description of the columns in the snapshot reports, and the effect of the commands to the client (e.g. what is the difference between snapshot, getSnapshot, and save, or what parameters do the commands take, etc. It's really hard to figure that stuff out (I know I could dive through the code but that's a bit much :-)) Thanks, Jeff. We've established and agreed upon the responsibility of EJB3 to produce EJBs from metadata, no matter how it's supplied. Back to the main question of the Thread: What is preventing us from moving the EJB / Metadata Deployers out of the AS Source tree such that another Assembly may consume them without depending upon AS? In turn, AS would consume the same deployers and use them just as they are now, only on the CP as JARs. Hello I set the host property to "myhost", let the port to 5400 and run JBoss AS with this option: -b myhost Once launched, I type a netstat -a command. This shows that TCP 127.0.0.1:5400 myhost:0 LISTENING So, is it really effective?
