Mark's error was from the hudson build 1665 which was before the update to vfs beta15, so hopefully this is a non-issue at this point. AFAIK, the following problem was solved with the latest VFS update (Beta15). Do you still see problems? There are a few reports of file truncation with the latest vfs. I'm not seeing this on osx with the current trunk (rev 74311). I'm not finding the sun.net.www.protocol.file.FileURLConnection source on osx so I don't know what the NPE is coming from. The ear root is not in the classpath by default since the classloader updates. We either need to add a backward compatibility flag to the EARStructure to add this, or add jboss-structure.xml to define the ear classpath.
