Regarding buddy replication, portal uses same TreeCache definition for both entity and protlet session replication. Since buddy replication can not be used for entity, do you mean to use separate cache configuration for session replication stuff and use the existing one for everything else? [Design of JBoss Profiler] - Problem with JBoss Profiler 2 Beta install.

I have installed one of the profiler 2 beta files, the larger of the two, though it's not clear if I need both or not. Is there anything more I can check or do to generate any more information? Yes, exactly. Paging works on the address and message level, not on the queue and message reference level. Paging comes before routing. You'll also need some kind of callback mechanism to trigger reloading from paging store when space frees up in an address. If paging is done before routing, this is much simpler then. Paging will be just a disk buffer before PostOffice routing. I was aways thinking of an edge case condition what would force us to do some control by Binding, and not by Address. I ran tests with use_query_cache=false and following configuraiton (just to recap) | <attribute name="NodeLockingScheme">PESSIMISTIC</attribute> | <attribute name="IsolationLevel">READ_COMMITTED</attribute> | <attribute name="CacheMode">INVALIDATION_SYNC</attribute> | Results are better. Previously, I used to get very good scalability upto 3 nodes but with 4 nodes, perf was equal to that of 2 nodes. Now, upto 3 nodes, I get close to linear scalability and with 4 nodes perf is equal to that of 3 nodes. With 5 nodes, results are as before.
