[EJB 3.0 Development] - Will EJB delete tables automatically

I'm new to EJB. I have created an EJB application and when I shutdown the server, it drops the tables created by the Entity. When I am back to the application after a restart, the table is back with no data. [jBPM Development PVM] - Re: Execution.getId()

Thanks Tom, you made it clear. The reason why we had our own engine is that we have our own MDD tool. It is something like Weld (former Seam) but all the code is generated from emf model and one can append code to the parts which we are not able to generate at the moment.. It encompass modeling of business model with constraints, client, rules, processes, reporting, authorization and initialization. It is used on few commercial projects but the process part is just in evaluation. Hope it will be one day open source. So we have own libraries for e.g. scheduling we use quartz with our own api or for saving/retrieving objects we use DAOs and we want the process engine to use this infrastructure. We also want that our process definition in emf translates one to one (directly) to the process definition xml. I haven't read JBPM 4 manual yet. I will read it soon. I was working with JBpm 3.x and then with PVM alpha.. We have one interface used for DAOs which has method "Long getId()" but we changed it now to "Serializable getId()" because of the jBPM. But I think it was the right direction. What we were not able to do was: http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=157371 Now we have an Exception flow as in BPMN and it is possible. We have Signal, Conditional and Timer events which can be in the flow to attached to a boundary of an activity.. Maybe cancel region as in YAWL or ad-hoc tasks with preconditions would be better.. Also recursive tasks and multi instance tasks are important. In jBPM there is no problem with them when you do it programmaticaly but we wanted to have this in the language itself. I would also like if ScopeInstance implements Map. Because when using languages as Wicket property language or MVEL it can work with variables in map directly, if it has getVariable() instead of get() we need for the few classes hack the system, e.g. in Wicket when adding a column to the table one of its parameters is the name of variable, but when tasks are shown you should implement own column.. [JBoss Web Services Development] - Create new deployer to deploy java first jms transport webse

If we deploy a java first jms transport webservice in cxf stack (http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbossws/stack/cxf/trunk/modules/testsuite/...), we also need to provide a web.xml to tell cxf stack, this is web service deployment and it needs CXFServletExt to load the jbossws-cxf.xml when it initializes. If this can be deployed without web.xml, it will be more quick and flexible.Can we create another deployer to do this job ? This deployer can load the cxf descriptor file (eg. cxf/jbossws-cxf.xml) in CXF to start jms trasnport . and resposible for started endpoints registration. It is also mainly for jave first web service in CXF stack . For the requirment to enable a service both with servlet transport and jms transport , and provide wsdl query via servlet transport , we can remain the current deployment approach. [JBoss AS Development Deployment Framework] - Jdbc Driver could not be instanced in Jboss5.1

Hi friends, Putting nzjdbc.jar(netezza database jdbc driver) in server/default/lib, I use this call to create the driver Class.forName("org.netezza.Driver").newInstance(). But I got a NoClassDefFoundError. Actually, I got the reason. the Driver has a static block which contains the following code and was executed when I was trying to load it. String str2 = Driver.class.getResource("Driver.class").getPath(); int i = str2.lastindexOf("!"); str2 = str2.substring(0,i); In jboss5.1, the first line of code will return /d:/nzjdbc.jar/org/netezza/Driver.class which does NOT contain "!" so, i will be -1, and the StringIndexOutOfBoundsException will be thrown at third line. I got a workaround for it that setting the nzjdbc.jar to system classpath or specifying nzjdbc.jar to wrapper.java.classpath. But in jboss4.2.0, the first line code will return file:/d/nzjdbc.jar!/org/netezza/Driver.class which contains the "!", so, everything was ok. My question is there any configuration in jboss to let server load the class with the JarClassLoader so that that code will return the path containing ! [JBoss Cache Development] - IE shows incomplete data

Hello All I have a very simple application which shows all the data from the database tables to the user through JSP. Some tables have huge data and while displaying to the user, browser shows incomplete data(Does not show data beyond a certain point). Could someone help me what the issue is? Is it something to do with Cache? [jBPM Development] - problem Myeclipse with jbpm and use of signavio and jboss se

hi I am new to JBPM and i want to use it with Myeclipse 7.5 but when i am trying to install jbpm-gpd-site plugin, its not getting installed. please help me how to do? And one more thing i have installed signavio into jboss by running ant script which is there in jbpm 4.1 developer guide install.signavio.into.jboss and when i am running the jboss server it is not starting. and how to use jboss seam with jbpm?
