With the JTS integration into JBoss AS, the org.omg.CosTransactions classes provided in jbossjts-jacorb.jar located in the common/lib directory are also provided in jacorb.jar found in the server/${conf}/lib directory. The files in jbossjts-jacorb.jar are more recent but are showing serialversionUID mismatches while running one of the integration tests. How can the duplicate distribution of these classes provided by the separate projects be eliminated when integrated with JBossAS? A question for the IIOP project team as well but thought I'd start here as the JTS specification defines the use of CORBA OTS to ensure an interoperable implementation so makes sense to distribute with JTS too. NioWorker will not shut itself down as long as there's any unfinished connection. If it just exits the loop when requested, resources will leak (i.e. some sockets will remain open.) Therefore, you need to make sure all connections are closed before shutting down the Executors. When shutting down the Executors, you must make sure that you are not waiting for the termination (ExecutorService.awaitTermination()) of the Executors in the worker thread. It's because you can't wait for the termination of the thread you are running on. The TomcatInjectionContainer could simply have a WebBeansManager injected into it when in a jsr299 env, and its injectServlet(Servlet) is called from TomcatInjectionContainer.newInstance method if the instance is a Servlet. I think the simplest way to do this is to delegate injection to the JSR-299 implementaton (Web Beans) rathen than replicate a load of binding discovery code in JBoss AS, and then calling out to Web Beans to find the value. However, we can do this work in JBoss AS if preferred. >From looking at org.jboss.injection, I assume we need a WebBeansInjector extends Injector whose inject method knows how to connect to Web Beans and perform the injection. So far we've managed to keep Web Beans much more out of the core of JBoss than this and it would be better to keep it that way if possible. I have added a Thread to read Joram output's after its initialization. This way, if the thread hangs again, we can get the thread dump with a kill -3. Like, it hang on hudson today. I had access to the box but I couldn't get much information as it didn't throw the output anywhere.
