[Design of JBoss ESB] - Webservice integration and OneWay Action pipeline

Scenario: Multiple applications communicate with each other in a point-to-point manner. They need to be decoupled by moving this communication over the ESB. One such communication is - App A calling a webservice exposed by App B synchronously. The webservice has a return value and App A consumes the response. Since existing applciations communicate synchronously, the action pipeline has to be of 'RequestResponse' type. Is it correct ? or 'OneWay' type can also be used in this scenario without any impact on the applications to be integrated? [Design of JBoss ESB] - Web service + security

Has anyone implemented security for a webservice exposed as a proxy service via JBOSS ESB ? Can you please share the steps ? We have Application B's webservice proxied on the ESB. Application A will be calling the same. The application A client side WS calling code already exists and we are not using ServiceInvoker anywhere. In the documentation read something about userNameToken and BinarySecurityToken but it is not clear. Basicaly we need to ensure that the service is called App A only on no one else. Can content based routing be used within an action pipeline of 'RequestResponse' type? If yes, how can it be achieved? If the same message is routed to 2 destinations, response of which destination will be returned back to the caller? [Design of JBoss ESB] - Validation of incoming message

1. Is validating the incoming message to ESB a standard/best practice or it should not be done? 2. We are having a existing webservice exposed as a proxyservice via HTTP router. The client is calling the proxy webservice. We need to validate the incoming XML using Schema. 3. Tried using the inbuilt SchemaValidationAction like When valdiation is failing it is generating Exception which is directly getting shown on JBOSS console. 17:53:59,321 ERROR [SchemaValidationAction] SAXExcption while trying to validate against schema '/re quest.xsd' org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-datatype-valid.1.2.1: 'somestring' is not a valid value for 'integer'. at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.validation.Util.toSAXParseException(Util.java:109..... Question is how to and where to catch this exception ? Since this is inbuilt action, when & where in the actionpipeline can we catch the validation exception so that required steps can be taken. No, regression means rollback. Fact of the matter is that this case shows that jboss.xsd should not be part of the metadata project. Within Metadata there is no way to assert completeness, because the actual logic that dictates this demand is in the EJB 3 project. I think I'm going to pull it out. If a component uses EJB 3 metadata it should depend on an EJB 3 component anyway. [Design of Messaging on JBoss (Messaging/JBoss)] - Where are the management integration tests?

Ok, I am confused here. I am looking through the management "integration" tests expecting to see a set of tests which basically do what the user will do. i.e. send management messages from the client to the server, and verify the results. But I can't find any, all I see is tests (which look more like unit tests) which call the control objects directly. Am I looking in the wrong place?
