The WorkContext's must be setup in the work thread before run() is executed. So the best place for this would be WorkManagerImpl::startWork(WorkWrapper) as we need to interact this the rest of the container in regards to the TransactionContext and SecurityContext. I agree that the layout of the WorkManagerImpl class could be a bit better - limit duplicated code, more logging and so on. Feel free to reorganize the WorkManagerImpl class such that each phase is better described. XmlAttribute javadoc contains examples for attributes bound to List's. For enumerations you may need an adapter. I am actually not sure if current xb supports this kind of binding. If it doesn't it should. [Design of JCA on JBoss] - About Project Plan & Implementation

Hi; When implementing Connection Management related contract, is old code that is implemented in the JBoss AS "trunk/connector" used for starting? Or, is it implemented from scratch? (This is also applicable for other modules, JDBC, JMS, Quartz, Timer etc.) What is the work plan for Pojo JCA? I have looked at JIRA for release plan but it is not detailed. When would you think to release first stable version ? Yesterday I had another customer on the phone, who was pretty confused about jbpm and DroolsFlow and told me, it makes a pretty unprofessionel expression to him, that there are two engines which don't have a DIFFERENT purpose in the same JBoss SOA environment. And especially if there is not guideline where the difference is and when to use what. The support itself seems not to know either, the only answer was jbpm 3 is currently the only supported platform...
