The jar in the snapshots repository (http://snapshots.jboss.org/maven2/org/jboss/client/jbossall-client/) is from April and I believe it was just a manual upload of the jar built by ant. That was from before the switch to a manifest only jar. What classes do you need to compile against? Maybe you can use one of the client jars built by maven from the CR1 release. For example there is a server client jar here http://repository.jboss.org/maven2/org/jboss/jbossas/jboss-as-server/5.0.....
