A remote client could use the system metrics (available through json data structures) to monitor server/domain health. Initially I propose to add some static env information for the standalone server. Perhaps something like this   "result" => {"metric" => {         "os" => {             "arch" => "amd64",             "name" => "Linux",             "version" => "2.6.40-4.fc15.x86_64"         },         "java" => {             "vendor" => "Sun Microsystems Inc.",             "version" => "1.6.0_26"         },         "runtime" => {             "name" => "Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment",             "version" => "1.6.0_26-b03"         }     }} Going forward we could add mem, thread, cpu stats. Because this would be available through the domain model, the console could also easily display these metrics.
