When I have included jsf-api.jar and jsf-impl.jar in WEB-INF/lib, the portlet failed to deploy, it gave some wired error. However, when I excluded those in the directory, the portlet deployed flawlessly, I suspect it could be a bug in Jboss Portal, because those jars are copied from the jboss web deploy directory.
