A reason I asked whether you guys planned to use 2.6.2 as your default in your standalone version is the weirdness described in my second post at http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=132159. The weirdness where the AS impl of ChannelFactory will return a shared transport JChannel from createMultiplexerChannel is an AS-only behavior.
