I did it and found JBoss couldn't parse it. I checked the schema file jboss-web_5_1.xsd and found the tag assembly-descriptor was not supported.   If this is true, could you let me know how principals from the security domain level can be mapped to logical roles in web.xml?   Thanks for your help.   Duane
