sweet ! from our side the ajax capabilities planned are : 2.6 : Drag and drop of window portlets 3.0 : ajax portlet update (similar to what you did) + more I certainly can look at your work and integrate it in our codebase for the 2.x branch. So the plan would be that we integrate your work with the requirements : 1/ we integrate it in main trunk future 2.6 2/ it needs to be unit tested (probably using JsUnit) otherwise it will disabled by default in 2.6 (but still activable). 3/ it must be coherent with the Drag and Drop : no conflicts, unified JS library.
