This is to outline a task for community contributor Tony Stubbs. A set of Maven Mojos called the "JBoss AS Control Plugin" is currently in its infancy and would benefit from some development and an initial release. Currently holding this up is a small wrapper to install a specified deployable unit via delegation to functions already in place in org.jboss.jbossas:jboss-server-manager.
