Yes, the latest binary version of the mail server M5-pre1 will only run on 4.0.4CR2. Between 4.0.4CR2 and 4.0.4GA, the AOP classes were changed. Although these are internal classes, we use an AOP precompile step in our build, which introduces references to those classes, hence the missing JoinPoint reference.
