I am aware there are new features in the personalization area included in 2.6 but I am trying to determine if there are basic personalization features available in 2.4 now. For our portal we are not looking to allow each user to change content on a page or portlet and we never want each user to be able to add his own portlets. The scenario we want is as admin to setup pre-defined pages/portlets then have each user be able to select one or more to include on their own 'My Page'. Is this possible in 2.4 or do we need to wait for 2.6? In the 2.4 user guide there is reference to security settings to grant 'personalize' to allow users to personlize an object.
