[Design of Clustering on JBoss (Clusters/JBoss)] - Detecting a JBoss Node's Failure - jboss-dev-forums

I have some general questions on JBoss Clustering:

Is there a way to register some sort of fault handler in order to receive a notification
of JBoss nodes' failures?

Also, is there a mechanism to discover component level failures in case the JBoss node is
still running?
