In my current Jboss(4.2) Portal (2.6.2) setup, I have a bussines requirement where a given user should be directed to a given portal, based on his/her assigned roles. Note that what I want is not a redirect to his/her dashboard. For instance, if user has a "HR" role, he/she would land on the "hr" portal, whereas a "HELPDESK" guy would go to a "helpdesk" portal. I see that there is a config.xml parameter that controls the portal where users go after a login, but this applies to every user. Is there a simple way/hack to use the "homepage" attribute from the user´s profile in order to attain my intended behaviour ?
