I've released ejb3-endpoint-deployers:0.1.0 and its dependencies as a first step towards integration. The reliance upon JDK6 is actually for the runtime environment used for Surefire/tests only. It's built w/ JDK5, so we're all set. Only because ejb3-embedded is built w/ JDK6 is that requirement in place, and ejb3-embedded is a test-scoped dependency (ie. not exported).
