The first question I have to ask is why do we need to register the EPR in the registry? 
It is not an ESB endpoint and shouldn't really be there.

The issue appears to be tied to the <a
href='https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBESB-2822>https://jira.j...
so I assume it comes from that work.
