There is web-console, which is sort of like an admin console, but it usually broke (it has
not been maintained for a while).
There is jmx-console, which is more of a JMX browser that an admin console. It is better
suited for developers that for administrators.
There is JBossON, which is a very capable admin console and monitoring tool. You need to
obtain a support contract to access it, though - it is not free.
There is a promise of a new admin console in JBossAS 5 (a subset of the JBossOn
functionality), but that console has yet to show up in any of the candidate releases.
In general, administering JBossAS involves editing XML files.
