Yes, the 2.6 api looks quite nice. I have 2.6 running and I'm playing with users/roles. But I am also trying to understand the usage of LDAP for users and roles. It would be great if the "identity configuration" part of the wiki gets filled out with as complete an example as possible. I have questions about how much knowledge a portal has (or must have) of the directory tree (in terms of DN formation) in order to be able to process users and roles.
