I would suggest to keep 1.0_SP branch for a while, for all those who use the 1.0.x series and are not ready to migrate to 1.2 yet. So, release 1.0.1.SP5 and declare this the last planned release on the 1.0 branch, merge the changes into the trunk, and concentrate on the trunk. As for stuff in 1.0.2.CR1, just merge what it makes sense into the trunk, and kill the branch. My opinion.
