Finally, I've figured out what was happening with the designer. It was just that I had no jbpm engine configured, and current designer versions are not shipping with a bundled one, as I've just read here: http://jboss.org/jbossBlog/blog/kaers/?permalink=JBoss_jBPM_3_1_2_and_3_0... After setting up an engine, I was able to create a new JBPM project!! At last and from CVS HEAD version. I want to thank all the kind help I've received here. I also want to apologize for being perhaps annoying with all my help requests, but I felt a little lost with all the problems I've hit. Tomorrow I'll start to test the jbpm.ear application on a JBoss running against an oracle database, and see how the new JMS MessageService runs! Regards.
