We are looking to expand the options available for routing messages within the ESB. At present the routing is based on drools and, while very good at the job, is overkill when the routing requirements are simple. Two capabilities that have been requested in the past are routing decisions based on XPath and regexp. There would be some issues to address within our messages but I do not feel that these are insurmountable. What do folks think about these? Do you have any specific requirements?
