We have chosen JAXR-1.0 for this release, so I would think that drives the "good enough"? We need to put a stake in the ground somewhere.. I mean we can let go of JAXR (or wait for 2.0) if that's what you're suggesting, but as you say for 4.0 that's not really an option anymore.
