Looking at the issue more closely, I don't think handling of vfs-memory via some copy mechanism would actually help here. As it would be the tld handling that wouldn't work then - as shown in our initial exception. tld handling currently explicitly expects zip file, where in our case we wouldn't know how to generically create one out from vfs-memory contents. Only proper solution, and that's what Remy is currently working on, is to have tld handling ported (back) to VFS.
