I'm looking at supporting pluggable serizliation of the server deployment metadata and want to be able to use jboss serialization as well as a new xml output stream format of jboss serialization. Looking at the jboss-serialiation project in cvs, its not in good shape in terms of having local dependencies on other jboss projects. I would say this needs to be moved into svn and refactored to use maven and better isolate the dependencies. Unless there are objections I would start doing this at the end of this week.
