Explain the problem with the data being elsewhere. Due to the nature of the data and the fact that it cannot be saved by the jca layer in general, it has to be elsewhere. If its the current security integration you are really complaining about, define your own abstraction ala the Subject factory suggested by Adrian. Well... I assume building this would be a really rare event. (Only on situations you are debuging it). If you could just commit these changes you made it's good enough for now. I previously followed instructions on README before and I got those failures. (look at the directory I previously used). I guess with these fixes you made this should be good enough. Fellows I got a build of the jar. here is what I did (outside of Eclipse). 1. check out jboss-head 2. cd jboss-head 3. check out joramtests (you should now have jboss-head/joramtests/build.xml) with no intervening subdirectory 4. go into joramtests/build.xml and update a few of the ant classpaths (trailing > removed) <path id="library.classpath" <path refid="junit.junit.classpath"/ <path refid="apache.log4j.classpath"/ <path refid="apache.commons.classpath"/ (added) <path refid="oswego.concurrent.classpath"/ </path  <path id="dependentmodule.classpath" <path refid="jboss.common.core.classpath"/ (changed) <path refid="jboss.common.logging.spi.classpath"/ (changed) <path refid="jboss.common.logging.log4j.classpath"/ (changed) <path refid="jboss.common.logging.jdk.classpath"/ (changed) <path refid="jboss.j2ee.classpath"/ <path refid="jboss.j2se.classpath"/ <path refid="jboss.test.classpath"/ </path 5. run build.sh and the build should complete, with a jar in joramtests/output/lib Having a standalone build would be preferable. IIRC what it actually needs is junit, log4j, jboss-test.jar, jboss-j2ee.jar and the tools project so you could fix it do it a standalone build?
