[Javassist development Forum] - Double HttpRequest Problem

Hi, I have a problem when I deploy my WebApplication under JBOSS, a problem that seems to be absent deploying the same application under others AppServers. Here is the question: - it seems that every HttpRequest sent by the browser to the Jboss Server (Post or Get request) is doubled, in other words the server seems to receive two requests from the browser of the webApp user. I'm quite sure that the problem is related to the appServer, but at now I don't understant what's going wrong... Any ideas? Thank's a lot for your answers! Question: What is the 'cluster topology' the client needs to track? Is it the set of JBoss Messaging servers; i.e. there's only one topology? Or does it vary by service (e.g. queue/topic), i.e. the topology for Queue A is different from Queue B because A is deployed on some nodes on B some other ones. I had a look at the DRM code and was able to refactor it into an abstract version that can easily be subclassed with a version meant to integrate with your ClusteredPostOffice. So there are some useful classes from the AS for use on the server side. I created some UML for this, but the free version of the plugin wouldn't export an image :( 1) (impl of) DRM. DRM basically maintains a distributed version of a Map<String key, Map<String nodeId, Object replicant>>, plus registration/notification of listeners when the data in the map changes. The replicant in the map is whatever you need; in the Remoting case it would be an InvokerLocator. DRM also calculates a hash of the replicants associated with a key; this hash is meant to be passed back and forth between the client and server; an out-of-date hash from the client tells the server it needs to send an updated cluster topology. 2) An HATarget instance listens to the DRM for changes to a given key and exposes the current hash and list of replicants. 3) ReplicantsManagerInterceptor is a server-side AOP interceptor that compares the hash sent by the client to the one held by the HATarget. If mismatch, get the current replicant list from target and packages it with the response. Regarding use of aspects for handling failover/loadbalancing, have a look at the following classes in the AS aspects module, o.j.aspects.remoting package: 1) ClientChooserInterceptor -- client side aspect. 2) ReplicantsManagerInterceptor -- server side aspect that propagates cluster topology changes back to the client as response metadata. 3) ClusteredRemoting. This is a class that creates proxies that uses these interceptors. EJB3 uses the first two. It doesn't actually use ClusteredRemoting; rather it does similar things in its own more specialized proxy factories. These classes import the main loadbalancing stuff from the AS cluster module. I've gotten a version of that load balancing stuff extracted out into a separate project that can be checked in. [Design of POJO Server] - VFScanner change filter usage change

as part of the tomcat deployer changes I'm moving the jbossweb-tomcat6.sar into the deployers dir as a directory of jars(jbossweb-tomcat6.lib) and a war-deployers-beans.xml. The jbossweb-tomcat6.lib contains no deployables, only jars. I could not add .lib to the ignored suffixes filter of the scanner as the scanner only applied the filter to leafs. I changed this to apply the filter first regardless of the vfs file type.
