I have committed an initial version of this. I have left the jboss-aop-jboss5.deployer as it was and split the jboss-aop-mc-int.jar into

The boot.jar contains the necessary hooks for being picked up by the mc (AOPJoinpointFactory, AOPMetadataContextFactory and AOPDependencyBuilder). Until the jboss-aop-jboss5.deployer has been deployed, these classes use the default/non-aop mc behaviour. Once the jboss-aop=jboss5.deployer has been deployed the AOPJoinpointFactory etc. switch to using the aop behaviour.
There is a (so far) basic test in the testsuite under org.jboss.test.aop.test.MicrocontainerJMXUnitTestCase.
aop-mc-int-aspect-beans.xml still uses the "verbose" mode of defining the managed aspects:

does not work at present since the AspectBeanMetaDataFactory tries to call AspectManager.instance() before the AspectManager has been deployed, i.e before the dependencies etc have been read. This ties in with http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBAOP-271 (Hardcoded aspect manager in AspectBeanMetaDataFactory)
I am thinking of changing this to be something like:

where "manager" is a "reserved" property name for this use-case-xml that can be propagated to the created Aspect and AspectBinding beans so that they have the correct dependencies. If the Advice (the top of the three beans in the "verbose" variety) does not have a "manager" property, that should be removed from his metadata.

[Design of JBoss Web Services] - JSR-181 Annotation Based UDDI Registration

I started experimenting with a SubDeployerInterceptor to do this. It works fine up to the point where it tries to invoke the jaxr api.
I have wrapped the necessary jaxr calls with another mbean. This mbean works fine in isolation.
Basically the system deadlocks. So i assume there is some dependency that has not started yet.
Any ideas?

[Design of JBoss ESB] - Re: Design of a Content Based Routing Service

I have a few concerns with the router. Hopefully these aren't issues and it's just me being nieve.
Is the method of caching WorkingMemories thread safe? I assume (maybe falsely?) that the ESB is multi-threaded. That is, it can process multiple messages at once by using separate threads. I see two problems here: if two messages come in for routing at once, both with the same ruleset, the two threads could walk all over each other. If both threads are sharing the same WorkingMemory object, how can you be sure which message or destinationServices list the rules are operating on? Below is a patch that addresses the issue by using synchronization. One alternative would be to pool WorkingMemory objects.
I also fixed what I think is a memory leak with the Message being retained in the WorkingMemory forever.

[Design of JBoss jBPM] - Re: a jms message sending node type

I think an example would be a good first step, as this can provide a base for customization.
I think a second step is a JMS ESB Node that supports the requirements for integration with JBoss-ESB. I have already been working on an example with the ESB guys, and jBPM / ESB integration will (at least initially) be done via JMS. So a JMS Node and MDB that supported ESB integration would be very valuable.
Configuration in this case could be fairly simple to start. The name of an object that is stored as a jBPM context variable can be specified on the node, along with the destination and a few other properties. The object would be used to create an ObjectMessage and sent to a JMS Queue that is consumed by the ESB.
I agree though that a general purpose, one size fits all, supports every conceivable configruation option for a JMS Node is probably not doable, but we should try to get something moiving in that direction.
